Mission statement

Across the board, the English Department does an excellent job bringing high challenging curriculum to students to keep the bar high for them.  We do this through summer reading, 25 book campaign, curriculum, technology, library/literary projects, outside resources and field trips, etc.  We are constantly trying to grow in these areas as educators so that students have better opportunities, are engaged, and are performing at high levels.  We want our students to be life-long readers and writers outside of the classroom, and most importantly, citizens of the world. Levels: English I, II, III, IV; creative writing
